The Gainesville Haymarket Youth Football League (GHFYL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a character building program for both boys and girls of the area through fundamental instructions associated with youth tackle football.
The purpose of the Grizzlies Summer Cheer Camp is to build confidence and leadership in girls through providing a fun week of camp where cheerleaders will learn new skills in a fun and relaxed environment. New cheerleaders will experience what cheerleading is all about and returning cheerleaders will improve their skills and learn brand new cheer material.
The Grizzlies Cheer Camp provides high quality cheer instruction by partnering with local High School cheer programs on a rotating basis.
Participants will receive quality instruction on the fundamentals of motions and jumps as well as learn a performance cheer, several sideline chants and a dance routine. In addition, we will have age and skill appropriate stunting and tumbling. A daily snack will be provided.
The Grizzlies Summer Cheer Camp is open to all rising 1st – 8th grade girls and is a non-competitive camp.
Older girls will get tips to prepare for Middle School try-outs!!
